  7. Benedetto SM100920 Benedetto Archtop Guitar Bridge String Marker

From the master himself - an ingenious (and quick) way to determine string spacing on an archtop guitar bridge. Without complicated measurements, it is easy and precise to adjust this important part of the setup. This anodized aluminum tool was developed by legendary archtop luthier Bob Benedetto and is suitable for almost all archtop wooden bridges. You don't have to worry about different scale lengths or neck widths because the fan-shaped design is intuitive and easy to use. Use the bridge on the guitar to mark your outer E strings. This is determined by the width of the neck and the player's preferences and style. Mark the spots with a pencil and then deepen the line with a scriber or slotted file. Remove the bridge and place it upside down over the tool, observing the string order mark.
