This legendary Russian lens is a clone of the Carl Zeiss Biotar, and is renowned for it's distin ctive and attractive Bokeh, which makes it ideal as a portrait lens and well suited to any kind of shallow focus work where visually pleasing backgrounds are desirable.

Lens is in good working and cosmetic condition with signs of use commensurate with its age, but please check photos as they are part of the description. Lens elements look clear in normal light but light cleaning marks and dust can be seen when a torch light is shone through, a strip clean may be beneficial but can’t guarantee this. Aperture blades move freely and focussing action is smooth. Not film tested.
