A direct replacement for the standard part, Direnza Charge Coolers are optimised for cooling capability. Constructed from aircraft grade aluminium (a material well-known for its excellent thermal conductivity), our Charge Coolers are the perfect addition to any car, including those driven hard on track. Designed and developed in-house by Direnza engineers, our Charge Coolers provide as much as 40% additional cooling capacity compared with standard systems, their robust yet intricate design, and exceptional cooling performance a testament to our R&D processes. Direnza Charge Coolers are TIG-welded for additional strength and durability. TIG welding also provides a more precise finish than MIG welding, and reduces stress on the material at hand. Our Charge Coolers will enhance the appearance of any engine bay. Dyno Results: Put through its paces on a state-of-the-art Maha MSR 500 Dyno, our Aluminium Charge Cooler Radiator showed an increase in +3.3hp & 4.7nm.

MVT technology designed by Direnza offers greater intercooler efficiency in comparison to other aftermarket alternatives. This is achieved through the use of carefully placed vanes in the end tank which evenly distribute air across the entire core. Ensuring the full surface area of the intercooler core is optimised to cool your charged air, resulting in more power. +4.9hp / + 10.2nm Intake air temps 12.75°C lower than stock intercooler 42% larger than stock intercooler core Black coating improves heat dissipation properties Designed using state of the art 3D CAD and CFD modelling Direct replacement for the original core TIG welded for maximum strength and durability

When tested on the dyno, we saw Intake temperatures drop by 12.75°C with our MVT intercooler installed. We also successfully tested the Intercooler up to 418.6bhp without intake temperatures reaching stock levels.

Test car: Hyundai i20N 210.4hp / 303.2nm Put through its paces on a state-of-the-art Maha MSR 500 Dyno, our Multi Vane Technology Intercooler for the Hyundai i20N yielded some highly impressive results. After installing our revolutionary MVT Intercooler, engine performance improved significantly. With the i20N now producing 223.2hp & 318.8nm of torque, that’s an increase of +12.8hp & 15.6nm of torque without any additional tuning. What’s more impressive is the cooling power of MVT. Using sophisticated data logging software, we measured intercooler inlet temperatures at 122.8°c. The stock intercooler performed well, reducing this to 39.7°c at the Intercooler outlet. However, with MVT installed, outlet temps were reduced an additional 21.4°c down to 18.3°c! That’s an overall temperature drop of 104.5°c. Thus, providing huge tuning potential and greater reliability when combined with a remap & supporting modifications. The perfect addition to any track or modified road car!
