The prototype locomotive had a corridor link through the tender to the coaches to allow crews to switch over without stopping the train. The set contains LNER A3 class 4/6/2 and tender loco "Flying Scotsman" with 2 LNER composite coaches and 2 LNER brakend coaches.

This was one of two sets bought for our child - unfortunately after the initial set up and use there was little interest so the set has been sat in our attic for many years unused. The set is in excellent condition- train has been carefully oiled as per the instructions and the only slight issue is that the locomotive is a bit sticky in reverse - forward motion is fine. I think this is something to do with the lack of use as the set has just been in a box and very carefully put back on the odd occasion it was played with. No mat included.

Bought by my father for his retirement but sadly never used as he suffered a stroke shortly after he retired. Boxed, all parts wrapped and only removed from box for testing (see video).
