Due the many variations of the JEM Junior guitars and countries of manufacture. The Silver Mirror plates are made from a strong but lightweight Acetate. The real mirror effect is applied to the back of the plate.

Subject to a very gentle fret level and setup by Feline guitars. To its credit, it had pretty great frets when I got it, so didn't need much. It's a great guitar, but as they're not making any more guitars in the 90s, becoming a rare thing that's getting more and more valuable to people. I'm scared of such things (I prefer guitars that have been played a lot and don't need to worry about).
