Here we have my: 27” Apple iMac aluminium stand and hinge assembly for model number A1312. Super condition It’s sat on my desk from day one and has illustriously held up my iMac safely and securely all this time. I’m not one of these people who constantly change the screen position or alter the angle so the hinge mechanism has had pretty much no use and is still resistive to change and holds the screen in place no matter what degree of viewing you’d like. I know some older models tend to droop after a while but not this one.
