  3. ANTIQUE CAST STEEL SHOULDER PLANE; ROSEWOOD INFILL NO BLADE.

    The infill is fruitwood. The blade wedge is made from what I believe is Teak. ANTIQUE SHOULDER PLANE, 1.25INS SOLE/BLADE WIDTH, 7 AND 5/8INS LONG. This plane is still useable once bladed, and is reassuringly heavy at 942g.almost 1kg.

    A Norris No 18 shoulder plane with a 1 1/2" Cutter. A wide, heavy infill shoulder plane. Rear of the plane is marked "unbreakable". Cutter has seen some use but still has more to give. All parts (wedge, body and cutter) are stamped with the Number 2 indicating they left the factory together. I'm happy to combine postage costs where I can. Thank you for looking.
