The postcard features a striking sepia-toned image of a seven-day clock prominently displayed in the entrance hall of Monticello, the historic home of Thomas Jefferson. The clock boasts Roman numerals and an elegant wooden frame, enhancing the classical aesthetic of the surrounding architecture. Above it, intricate moldings hint at the grandeur of the space. On the reverse side, the postcard is labeled with the title "SEVEN-DAY CLOCK IN ENTRANCE HALL AT MONTICELLO," along with a description of Monticello's significance as Jefferson's former residence and its current status as a national memorial, maintained by the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation. This combination of visuals and historical context makes it a charming memento of American history.

The Jefferson Golden Minute clock was a smaller and fancier than its sibling, the Golden Hour clock. This has a very nice finish for the 1956 date. It runs quietly with is a very faint tapping sound which may be intentional.
eBay
This is the very rare "Exciting Hour" Jefferson mystery clock.
