Very rare and built like a tank Jensen SM-12 12" 8-ohm loudspeaker from the early 1970s in perfect working condition. This speaker was reconned by a professional and was being used in a guitar cabinet where it shinned with a punchy mid-range and well-rounded lows and highs.

Greetings vintage audio enthusiasts, guitar amp builders and Jensen speaker lovers ! For your consideration is a Jensen C12-R Special Design 12” loudspeaker. It tests 7.0 ohms on my Fluke 777 multi-meter. The cone is in great condition with no holes or cracks. I played it at low volume and it sounds pretty good ! 🎶 This is a perfect candidate for a boutique tube guitar amp build ! 🎸 Please ! ! Look closely at the attached images ! ! They are an important part of the description and help provide a good idea as to the condition of this speaker . ⚠️Due to the nature of vintage electric, these items are being sold “AS IS” no warranty is promised or implied in any manner. ⚠️

The Voice coil shown testing DCR in pics, It Has been oscillated to 30 cycles and tested clear of rubs. I think the 100 watt spec is certainly optimistic, But this speaker would run beautifully on say a 50 watt Tube amplifier. But sold as is, I don't want it back after you blow it up.
