A silver plate New King tenor saxophone with original lucite angel wing key guards. Serial number dates it to 1963. Neck and body have matching serial number. As you can see the silver plate is patchy on the keys and top of the bell but good elsewhere, I tried to show where it is missing in the photos. There are some hairline cracks in the lucite on the lower fixings as can be seen. Serviced last year by Dean Pelling and in good playing order and no leaks, but pads have clearly been in for years. Still got plenty of life in them though. Comes with original case.

Re padded Jan 2024 with the correct thickness pads as factory specified, also some new springs replaced, regulated correctly and fully working. 60% of its original factory nitro lacquer. Neck Socket serviced 2023 and fully working correctly, . the neck is original and serial number is the same as the body. read the sax on the web chat forum. The is the Double socket, three ring model with the more refined bell guard before King went over to the stamped guard. serial number 269xxx none original case. all clasps working.

Excellent tenor saxophone recently serviced, pad's cork/ felts replaced so playable condition. Perspex covers on some keys which is an added feature, see photos. Normal signs of age with a few scratches but good for its age believed to be around 1958/60 for the serial number. Made in Germany . Included is a Silver Selmer mouthpiece, an Alpine soft/padded case and lyre.
