This is a used boiling bath steriliser by Sesco (Seward Medical). This is model nber 4005 and is rated at 1.5kw. It has adjustable power settings and is fitted with an internal " tray for raising and lowering the contents to extract them from the hot water to drain. The unit is in perfect working order, although it needs a clean, and its days of medical application are well past. I've been using it to warm plastic tubes etc for bending/reshaping, or to heat small aluminium components such as cylinder heads without distorting them prior to changing press-fit components.
