Being a Le Creuset saucepan, it is compatible with gas, electric, and induction hobs. It weighs 1.530kg when empty and takes about 1 litre of liquid. It is probably best to handwash the saucepan in hot, soapy water (rather than place it in a dishwasher) and to avoid using harsh cleaning materials particularly on the inside of the saucepan.
