Here for sale we have an Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard in Aged Dark Cherry Burst finish. Whilst the profile is certainly substantial, it remains slim enough for articulate playing, and with the Satin finish to the rear feels plenty fast enough for lead lines and solos.

The guitar itself plays and sounds fantastic. The neck originally had a sticky poly finish, so I lightly sanded it back for a smoother, faster feel. It wasn’t a full strip — just enough to reduce the stickiness, and since the guitar is satin finished, it blends in nicely and looks intentional.
