Classic Victorian bronze and brass letterbox and knocker. Only ever seen this design in cast iron and once in brass but never in this combination of bronze with brass letter flap. Studs 6" center.

It likely dates from the late 19th to early 20th century. The back plate is very slim - about 4mm. It no longer has its original bolts and there is no spring on the flap part. The only maker's marks I can see is the number 2 on the back of the flap.
