Unsure of maker but the Registered design number 417620 which can just about be made out with a magnifying glass, dates this piece to circa 1903. Lovely antique solid brass letter box. This quality cast brass letter flap dates to the Art Deco period. The makers stamp Ching also appears on the reverse. The spring loaded flap is in great working order, as is the knocker which moves with ease. Fully restored and lightly polished with new nuts and bolts supplied.
