LOCTITE 577 is designed for braking and sealing metal tubes and threaded fittings, as well as other threaded assemblies. Medium strength, general-purpose threaded sealant for straight-straight or tapered-straight fittings. It fills the gaps between the threads, seals and brakes them at the same time. It does not loosen, shrink, or crack. It has excellent chemical and thermal resistance and prevents migration into the fluid after application to the part. Polymerizes on active and passive metals. Suitable for all metals. Immediate sealing at low pressure. Braking of fittings preventing loosening induced by vibrations and other stresses. Easy to apply.
