  15. Eastman MD515 Paul Shippey 2010.

    This is my Eastman MD515 I bought new in 2010 from The Acoustic Music Company ltd. In 2011 Paul Shippey the well known Luthier from Somerset fitted a Artec transducer and custom bridge. The original bridge is included. Paul lowered the action and set the instrument up superbly. The Mandolin is serial number 6102 and being hand built has a lovely finish. It has a few marks which I have been transparent in photographing. The woods have matured to give the mandolin a lovely tone which only comes with age. It comes with a Levy’s leather shoulder strap Made In Canada. What you see in the photos are what is included. The frets are not worn and the neck is in perfect condition. A very lovely Mandolin.
