Our Quartz-Sand veneer is a reconstituted stone veneer manufactured in Italy from crushed Italian marble dust. Sicilian Red has a stunning mix of muted and deep reds married with dynamic white patterning with the occasional black streak. The natural stone top surface is backed with a fabric mesh backing making the sheets light weight, flexible and easy to process. The material is translucent and can be back lit so the same sheets can be used for both back lighting and non back lighting projects. The top surface is a soft semi-smooth finish giving a subtle and tactile natural feel. The sheets are easy to process and can be cut with a Stanley knife/blade. Be careful to use the correct adhesive and apply the adhesive correctly to avoid being able to see the adhesive behind the sheets. For adhering the sheets in back lighting projects you can use our Lite stone adhesive for translucent stone veneer. For non back lighting projects you can use our Lite Stone slate & stone veneer adhesive, this adhesive must be spread with a spreader tool. You can also use tile adhesive or contact adhesive with the sheets, depending on the application. In all cases the sheets should be sealed to protect them from staining and settle the quartz-sand top surface. You can order our Stain stop product for this. This material is suitable for internal dry and wet vertical applications and furniture cladding. Each Slate Veneer sheet has a 100% natural stone face specially manufactured with a fibre glass and resin backing to make it flexible, light weight and easy to install. Cobre is our most popular red slate finish. It has a red and silver/grey base colour with a high shine and textured finish. There is veining and direction in the top surface finish which gives it an amazing aesthetic. The tones of Cobre add a welcoming warmth to any space. This material is suitable for internal and external walls, flooring, showers, furniture and door cladding. We sell the adhesive, adhesive spreader tool, tile backer boards, sealers and cleaners to use with this product. Lite Stone
Our beautiful Bianco Slate Veneer sheet has a 100% natural stone face specially manufactured with a resin and fibre glass backing to make it ultra thin, light weight and easy to install. This product listing is for a pack of x6 60 x 30cm self adhesive slate veneer sheets (1.08 sq mtrs). The sheets are not batched so there is lots of natural variation in colour, texture and pattern between each sheet. We also offer options to order 3 packs and 5 packs at a discounted price. These 60 x 30cm tile size sheets have a special peel and stick self adhesive backing so they do not require adhesive and are fast and clean to install. They can be easily cut with tin snips, a stanley knife, angle grinder or multi tool. This format of slate veneer is suitable for internal feature walls, furniture and door cladding in dry areas. It is not suitable for wet areas like outside walls or bathrooms. Bianco is a light grey with oranges,browns and reds mixed in its beautiful swirling pattern. It has a mild riven and natural texture. If you require a sample you can order a sample of the Bianco slate sheet from our regular slate and stone veneer range. It is the same slate on the top surface but without the self adhesive backing.
