Giovanni Valerio Pasquali was a Venetian copper-engraver & printer,active c. 1780s-1810s, and almost certainly the grandson of Giovanni Battista Pasquali (1702-1784). The elder Pasquali, with the support of the British bibliophile Joseph Smith, established the Pasquali Press in the 1730s, which soon set the standard for elegant mid-century Venetian publishing.
