French text. A rare and large map of the whole area of all Swiss cantons around the year 1760. The decorative and very detailed depiction of switzerland is Further Enriched by Several Coats of Arms. This original Copper engraved map was published in 1760 by Philippe Buache (1700 - 1773), Based on to Older Map by Guillaume Delisle (1675 - 1726). The map measUrces approximately 49 x 64 cm (Platesize). It is in Good Condition, with some light browning.

This is a well preserved vintage map of GENEVA Switzerland from before 1980. Produced to advertise a chain of Photo Centres, selling camera and other equipment, throughout Geneva. It is double-sided, a road map of the city on one side, and information for tourists on the other in English and French. It is in very good condition. This map is on crisp paper with no holes or tears. Just a small amount of expected age and usage related creasing, and a couple of things written in ink on the back.
