Vintage Kelvin White & Hutton 2 Day Marine Chronometer. I would assume 1930s. The chronometer bezel is 13cm across. Unusual 'shell' type marking on the bezel. The dial reads "Kelvin White & Hutton 11 Billiter St London 6174". I assume it is a Mercer, dating to 1938. The bezel reads "15006". The movement reads "15006". The bowl reads "15006" The chronometer winds, sets and works properly, keeping time. It is running approx 3 seconds fast after 24 hours. The brass fittings and the exterior of the bowl are tarnished and need a clean /polish.

I am uncertain of this part’s full history, nor whether it had been used or not. I will therefore consider it as ‘used’. The locking stone ruby jewel is in good shape, with no apparent defects, and it is securely mounted.
