Henry Hughes & Son Maritime Sextant. Produced at 59 Fenchurch St., London. Serial number of 4440. Silver inlaid scale on brass. Scale magnifier is in good condition. Includes three (3) scopes; 1x, 1x with shade, and 7x non-inverting. The 7x scope has moderate haze in the front element, but is still functional. Mirrors are fair, shades are good. The sextant does NOT match the case or certificate. Case has wear, with what appears to be Chinese text above the handle. No key for the lock.
