Works exactly as it should, no box. Owned from new. There's probably a lot about these on the internet, it doesn't sound anything like the original bluesbreaker but it's a pretty usable pedal. The boost function is actually pretty useful, is more trebly and biting than a regular clean boost if you're after an old school blues thing.
