Later sizes were adjusted to 54mm and then to HO scale, mainly to cut down on the cost of play sets. He produced his toys in three main factories in the eastern US, with others in. Hong Kong. The last Marx factory closed its doors in 1979, and all assets were liquidated in the early 1980’s.
