An original Evershed and Vignoles “Megger” circuit testing ohmmeter. In its original leather case with probes etc, Bakelite housing. This is in very original condition and uses a standard 4.5v battery (still available). I do not know if this works, it doesn’t appear to be damaged, so I’ve no reason to think it won’t, but I’m classing it as for repair/parts etc. The patent for this was issued in 1920, but I’d suggest this is likely 1950’s, possibly 1960’s. Collectible for those interested in vintage kit like this.
