Wykamol CM Brick Plugs are High Quality Fixing Plugs used in Basement Waterproofing and Damp Proofing applications to secure Wykamol Waterproof Membranes to the base material, usually brickwork & concrete. Wykamol CM Brick Plugs are manufactured from glass filled polyamide which gives a high strength, corrosion resistant fixing. The Sealing Washers fitted to the Brick Plugs to provide a watertight seal under the fixing head. Application requires a drilling of a 10mm diameter hole through the membrane and into the solid base material. A central hole in the fixing will accept a woodscrew for securing timber battens for internal lining systems. Plug Size: (W) 10mm x (L) 60mm. Platinum Cob Plugs are used to secure Damp Proofing Membranes and lining boards to poor quality base material. Brickwork and blockwork in particular can become soft and unsuitable for standard Plaster Plugs. Platinum Cob Plugs have an expansion pin which provides a secure fixing to poor quality base material. When fixing membrane to the wall using Platinum Cob Plugs, use a 10mm Drill Bit and drill to a depth of 5mm deeper than the plugs length (i.e if using using a 60mm Cob Plug, drill to a depth of 65mm. Insert the Cob Plug into the drilled hole and hit the central nail into the plug. This will make the Cob Plug expand into the substrate and create a secure fixing. Platinum Cob Plugs are supplied in 60mm and 90mm lengths, in packs of 50, 100 or 200.
