    This a RARE Match Safe Advertising Curtis & Co Manufacturing Co Saw Mills Circa 1880s The Curtis & Co Manufacturing Co legacy begins in 1854, when a company named Empire Saw Works employed a clerk by the name of Frank Curtis. In only a few years Frank and his father would come to own Empire Saw Works and in 1858 they would change the name of the company to “Curtis & Hiles.” After some time, they change the name again to “Curtis & Co.” This match safe is an advertisement on one side of match safe.
