About fitting it ,I stripped out the gears but it looked far too tight to remove and re-fit so I finished up removing the drive motor, very easy(remove switch panel and 2 bolts behind that) and makes the job a doddle; but I am not afraid of stripping it down to bare bones because I believe you should do that anyway with a Chinese lathe.
