Tested and working The speakers have some marks to the grills but only minor, and one does rattle - something seems loose inside but none of this affects use and they work fine. The main system works on all settings, however the mini disk part plays silent. We think this is because MDLP mode disks play silent in early non-MDLP Minidisc players which i believe this is We do not have a non MDLP mode mini disc to try on this system The cd part intermittently doesn’t pay disks. The speakers are in bery good condition, except for the wood-like sticker that has peeled off slightly over time from bottom (see photos). The set has been tested. It records and plays, and for such small speakers, the sound is amazing. The remote control looks unused. The set is complete, which is rare. It includes a purchase receipt from 2001, Ariel, manual, Sony mini-disc storage box. 10 new, sealed mini-discs, and the original speaker cable.
