Our Quartz-Sand veneer is a reconstituted stone veneer manufactured in Italy from crushed Italian marble dust. Crema Verona has a beautiful mix of rich cream tones that effortlessly weave together to make striking patterns in the elegant colour palette. The natural stone top surface is backed with a fabric mesh backing making the sheets light weight, flexible and easy to process. The material is translucent and can be back lit so the same sheets can be used for both back lighting and non back lighting projects. The top surface is a soft semi-smooth finish giving a subtle and tactile natural feel. The sheets are easy to process and can be cut with a Stanley knife/blade. Be careful to use the correct adhesive and apply the adhesive correctly to avoid being able to see the adhesive behind the sheets. For adhering the sheets in back lighting projects you can use our Lite stone adhesive for translucent stone veneer. For non back lighting projects you can use our Lite Stone slate & stone veneer adhesive, this adhesive must be spread with a spreader tool. You can also use tile adhesive or contact adhesive with the sheets, depending on the application. X1 122 x 61cm stone sheet requires 1 cartridge depending on how the adhesive is applied. You would require x4 cartridges for one of our 240 x 120cm jumbo size sheets. Do not use the black colour adhesive on our white marble and limestone veneers, use only the clear colour adhesive. These adhesives are not suitable for our translucent sheets, for translucent sheets please order Lite Stone translucent stone veneer adhesive. This translucent Cobre New Slate Veneer sheet has a 100% natural stone face specially manufactured with a fibre glass and transparent resin backing to make it flexible, light weight and easy to install. This is one of our most popular red / copper slate finish. It has a red base colour with a high shine and textured finish. There is veining and direction in the top surface finish which gives it an amazing aesthetic. Our slate veneer translucent sheets are installed by adhering the sheets to a sheet of transparent acrylic or Perspex. Our slate veneers are fixed to the Perspex using a transparent MS polymer adhesive such as Soudal crystal clear. The sheets can then be back lit using LED light sheets or a similar light source. They are regularly used for bar and counter cladding, feature walls, signage and lighting features. Each Slate Veneer sheet has a 100% natural stone face specially manufactured with a resin and fibre glass backing to make it ultra thin, light weight and easy to install. This product listing is for a pack of x6 60 x 30cm self adhesive slate veneer sheets (1.08 sq mtrs). The sheets are not batched so there is lots of natural variation in texture and pattern between each sheet. We also offer options to order 3 packs and 5 packs at a discounted price. These 60 x 30cm tile size sheets have a special peel and stick self adhesive backing so they do not require adhesive and are fast and clean to install. They can be easily cut with tin snips, a stanley knife, angle grinder or multi tool. This format of slate veneer is suitable for internal feature walls, furniture and door cladding in dry areas. It is not suitable for wet areas like outside walls or bathrooms. Nero is the classic black slate finish. It has a mild riven and natural texture and is ideal for any project requiring a black slate finish.
