    Two volumes, bound in deep green cloth with silver, gilt and red ornate decoration to fronts and spines. Bevelled edges, original coated endpapers. No inscriptions etc. One colour, and many black & white plates. Wear to the edges, corners, but the hinges are sound enough and the decoration bright, with some fading. The folding map at rear of Volume 1 is missing! Otherwise, a decent set.

I believe these two volumes are 1st editions and are in good condition for age. There is an original map attached inside the back cover of volume one (see photos). with slight fold tear.
