This has been serial number dated to 1995 by Neumann support. All in fine working order, all pattern positions and switches are working (Tip aside, as noted above!). No extraneous hums/noises or signal dropouts.

The AKG P420 is essentially a copy of the Neumann U87i, except it is harsh and shrill. I modded the mic with high quality capicitors so that it sounds just like the u87i, google AKG P420 mod.
