This has been serial number dated to 1995 by Neumann support. All in fine working order, all pattern positions and switches are working (Tip aside, as noted above!). No extraneous hums/noises or signal dropouts.

Frequency response matches the U87i by way of a capacitor alteration on the 1 to 1 U87i circuit board recreation. The P420 boasts a 1 to 1 copy of the Neumann U87i circuit and has been modified to follow the frequency response curve of a U87i almost perfectly with only a slight extension in the bass being the only deviation from the Neumann original.
