Manual focus but can accept more modern AF lenses. The way to clear this is to set the shutter speed to M90. I think if you manually set aperture and shutter speed you won't have problems. Shutter speeds 8 seconds to 1/1000 plus Bulb, M90 and Auto.

Selling one of my Nikon FE cameras. Although in slightly tatty condition, it is fully functional as can be seen by the last few photos which were taken using it. Just to point out two things. The battery check lever has a piece missing but it still works. The aesthetic cover over the top of the wind on lever is missing. It could easily be replaced with a piece of suitable material. Neither of these things affect the day to day working of the camera. Just looking for a good home so it can continue to be enjoyed for many more years to come.
