The tambour roll top shutter works well. Overall this desk is in good condition but the lock doesn’t work and will need repairing if desired (no keys). The drawer runner is worn so the middle drawer is a little loose but still works.

Mid Oak Edwardian roll top desk of superior quality with fielded (bevelled) exterior panelling to all sides. The oak finish is lightly shaded which adds to it’s attraction. An unusual feature on this particular desk is the split moulding beading on the side drawers.
