Superb original oil on canvas of a still life of green apples in the Dutch style. Indistinctly signed and dated (‘Harry Newby? Newley? and dated 1924, I think) . There are some rubs and minor losses to the frame, and minor surface marks to the canvas, which could easily be removed with a light clean/minor restoration, although it really presents to fabulous effect as it’s in very good condition for a 100 plus year old! Frame measures 55 by 45 cm approximately. A rare and really beautiful painting, a great size, and a very low start. Will be well packed and buyer will be absolutely delighted.
