This is an elegant pair of antique English George III Old Sheffield Plate candlesticks, in the Adam taste, circa 1775 in date. The candlesticks are of Corinthian design and have detachable sconces. The bases of the sticks have two bands of gadroon decoration and the columns are have twisted scallop banding decorated with acanthus leaves.

This is a pair of antique silver plated candlesticks with removeable top sconces. One of the candlesticks is bent slightly near the top which I have tried to show in the photos as best I can. I have used A/F for " as found " for 45 years.
