Fabulous Victorian Leather Clad Optician’s Lens Set “The Spectalette” by J.J Woods of Liverpool This is just fun and seems complete, consisting of a plethora of different strength lenses, a lens setter, a pair of glasses, eye test & the original instructions stamped with “J.J Wood, 20 Lord St, Liverpool. The leather box has had a hinge repair and has several marks to the exterior commensurate with its age. The interior is in fine fettle with pockets for the lenses, a pocket fitted to the lid for the paperwork and a velvet lined compartment for the glasses. Great collectors piece!
