A vintage oriental screen showing a delightful scene typical of this Japanese/Chinese style. The colours are still clear and bright and the is no fading. There is no damage to the silk display panel's and the woven edging is also in good condition. There is some wear to the rear of the screen with some paper covering missing and also one small dent in the backing material. Glad to say none of this effect's the front display panels at all. There is some marking to the paint on the edges of the wooden frame only noticeable on the centre join/gap. 72 inches high with four panels of 17 and half inches wide.
