The portable cd player would originally of taken 2 x gum batteries but they have leaked and i have tested it with some new ones but will not work. See pics for the battery leak. However there is an adapter that comes with it that takes 2 x aa batteries and it works fine with that attached. Slots into speaker dock and plays on mains too. Comes with box, instructions , remote etc Apart from the battery leakage this is in pretty good order please see all pics for condition
