There are myriad versions of Duofolds, with so many variations of trims, streamlining and so on. This particular pencil is one of the earlier ones and is distinctive in that it has 3 barrel rings - most similar designs have only 2.

The Lapis Lazuli has beautiful depth of colour with swirling shades of light and dark blue. Very beautiful pen. One of the most smooth and pleasant writers in my collection. Just FYI, there is a small mark across the "M" on the back side of the feed (pic 9).
