This is a rare launch edition controller and has been factory sealed since 2000. Original Launch editions have the code SCPH10010E. Also they do not have the colour of the controller printed on the box. When Sony started to produce coloured controllers they printed the colour on the box, including black for black controllers. This is not included on Original Launch packaging because everything was black so there was no need to.
