Painter, designer, engraver and lithographer born in 1938 in Nîmes. Jacques Poli lives and works in Vincennes. Polished, fascinated by the images of the industrial world, did not want to be fooled. Little by little, he realized that the object in his painting was only a pretext. The model has distorted until disappearing in his recent, deliberately abstract works. Coming from this generation of questioning and doubt, Poli has always had the distinction of loving his job as a painter and of approaching all the techniques of the plastic arts: wash, gouache, charcoal, lithography, engraving, poster, drawing in pen, ink of China. Just make sure the surface is smooth, clean and dry. Remove the backing paper and press firmly. THAT'S IT ! If its not smooth just use self tapping screws and a screwdriver sill no drilling. All images on these plaques are produced using a dye-sublimation process which gives an excellent gloss and hard wearing print, very difficult to scratch and won't fade suitable for outside as well as indoors.
