19th century boxed ‘superior dissection jigsaw’ map of England and Wales by W.Peacock. The wooden jigsaw is inscribed: ‘Gall & Inglis, Bernard terrace , Edinburgh & 25 Paternoster Square, London.’ Polished mahogany box with sliding lid and fine printed paper label. Sold by the famous toy store Hamleys, further aiding the dating on the piece. Totally in tact, no pieces missing - immaculate condition for an antique that was once used for educational purposes.
