This came to me with a flat battery, I did try to revive the original battery but unfortunately it was totally expired, so I purchased a new one and fitted it. I also purchased a new charging cable from USA. The helicopter now fly's and charges up again..I have tested it, but i am no pilot but I can say its good fun to fly.
