Complete Art Nouveau cast iron fireplace in excellent condition. Has the original mantel shelf, grate, removable grill bars, fire brick, ash pan cover and damper plate. Requires the old paint stripping to fully reveal the detail of the casting. Fire brick is cracked and had a crude repair with mastic, easily replaced. The fireplace surround is made of solid, heavyweight cast iron. During restoration we retained the original period mantle shelf and bars (fixed in place). We added a matching ash cover The final look is outstanding and will really add character to a room.

Incomplete Victorian cast iron tiled combination fireplace. Missing grill and damper plate, damaged grate. Original tiles in poor condition on the edges as it appears to have been sandblasted with them in situ. Easy refurb project as previously sandblasted so only surface rust to remove, unlike many that have years of layers of paint built up.
