The fireplace surround is made of solid cast iron. During restoration we added an antique period mantle shelf and a set of freestanding bars. The final look is beautiful and will really add character to a room.

This Victorian Cast Iron Fireplace Insert and Surround is a stunning antique piece, boasting an external width of 1m23 and 1m24 high. The mahogany fire surround is not as old as the fire place but has has been very well made and is in keeping with the age. The insert measures 96.5cm wide and 97cm high. It has its original grate and front cover plate, both in perfect condition. A couple of the decorative tiles are cracked but you really have to look closely. Please do check the photos.
