This is a vintage sony TC-378 3-head reel-to-reel tape recorder, manufactured in Japan during the golden era of analog audio. Designed for high-fidelity recording and playback, the TC-378 features 3 motors and a 3-head configuration, offering superior tape handling and monitoring capabilities compared to 2-head machines. Tested and fully working — all transport functions (Play, FF, REW, Stop) operate smoothly, and audio performance is clean and consistent. Cosmetically in good vintage condition with only minor signs of age and prior use (see photos for close-up details). The original VU meters, switches, and dials are intact and functioning. Tape counter and level controls respond as they should. Every item is carefully picked, packed, and shipped from our own warehouse in the Netherlands.
