Topcoat 5KG DARK GREY This DARK GREY topcoat is mainly used for Fibreglass roof applications as well as for Marine Craft. Unlike some products,it is not a re-blended resin ,this is a first blend product and comes with LLOYDS approval for marine craft use, This also means it has to pass quality checks for consistency . It is mixed with the supplied catalyst at 2% . This handy 5kg tin is useful for repairs , top ups and indeed small projects. Using Guidelines : The Top Coat should be allowed to attain workshop temperature (18ºC-20°C) before use. Stir well by hand, or with a low shear mixer to avoid aeration. It only requires the addition of catalyst to start the curing reaction. The catalyst is should be added at 2% into the Top coat. The catalyst should be thoroughly incorporated into the gelcoat, with the stirring stick.
