The forks move up, down & rebound. The suspension I would class as firm feeling. There are marks and scratches on the stanchions and a tiny amount of surface rust but are still nice and smooth and in generally in good condition (See photos).

Fork action is smooth even though there is a mark on one sanction. I feel these forks would suit the lighter cyclist which is not going to not going to be landing heavy on the front as the forks bottom out.
